Superstition Fire and Medical District has been asked to provide an emergency medical technician and a paramedic for medical aid services during the Jan. 23 Gold Canyon Arts Festival.
The SFMD Board of Directors voted 4-0 Sept. 16 to approve a medical staffing agreement for the festival. SFMD Board Chair Kathleen Chamberlain was absent.
The Gold Canyon Arts Council is to pay $1,685 to the district, which is based on two personnel working a total of eight hours each and the use of the utility task vehicle.
