Public input requested for proposed development near Anthem

A developer planning to build a north Phoenix rental community is asking to hear from nearby residents later this month.
The developer, FDG Acquisitions LLC, is asking for the public’s input about the proposed 170-unit single-family rental community, just north of Anthem along Interstate 17.
The planned community is called Arise Arroyo Norte, touted as “a luxury, single-family rental community" that would be centered around a large park. The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on March 31 via Zoom.
The rental structures are shown as unattached rather than looking like traditional apartment complexes with a stacked design.
The proposed project was addressed during a recent land subcommittee meeting with city of Phoenix officials.
The area will include a pool, cabanas, a dog park and other smaller parks and common areas for its residents.
