Downtown Tempe's annual Pride Party is back and rolling out the red carpet for a night filled with love, inclusivity and community.

The party gets underway from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, at Centerpoint Plaza on 7th Street and Mill Avenue in Tempe, creating a space where everyone can feel welcome, accepted and free to be themselves, right in the heart of Downtown Tempe.

"A significant factor shaping Downtown Tempe’s unique character is the diverse people who live and do business here, as well as the visitors who shop our stores and dine in our restaurants," says Lori Foster, President and CEO at Downtown Tempe Authority.

Visitors can tap into the Silent Disco with multiple rotating DJs, where they can control the night's vibe by selecting their music channel on color-coded headphones. Other event highlights include photo opps with friends, a market featuring local and queer-owned businesses, drag performances from host royalty, free rainbow roses and complimentary health checks.

In addition to snacks and sips to keep the party going strong with two bars serving beer, canned cocktails, energy drinks, non-alcoholic beer and water for a refreshing cooldown..

"Creating events that celebrate individuals and their differences is an important example of the many ways that we work to bring the community together while supporting local businesses," Foster said.
