In memory of those who tragically lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, the Exchange Club of Tempe will present the Healing Field® tribute on Thursday, Sept. 10, through Sunday, Sept. 13.
Thousands of American flags will be placed throughout Tempe Beach Park, representing each life lost on Sept 11, 2001 there will be over 3000 flags placed. This year honors the 25th anniversary of the event.

Every year, members of the community dedicate hundreds of hours to this grassroots effort to assemble and place the flags. It's a moving display and a reminder that we will never forget the tragic events of that day.
Remebrance events begin on Sept. 10 at 5:46 a.m. and last until Sept. 14 at 6 a.m. when volunteers meet to take down flags.
