The Tempe Chamber of Commerce will present Capitol Convergence: State of the District, featuring Rep. Greg Stanton (AZ-4) on Wednesday, April 3 from 8:30 to 10 a.m., at Rio Salado College, 2323 W 14th St.

“We are fortunate to have Congressman Stanton available to give updates on many of the important issues facing Arizona including the future of the local Semiconductor industry and how initiatives in Congress could impact that growth,” Colin Diaz, President/CEO of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce stated in a press release.

“He is also a strong proponent of workforce development and building the infrastructure to support new job growth.  As District 4’s representative, he is sure to deliver information that will inform and inspire.”

State of the District brings together the business community, political leaders and civic stakeholders for an update on federal issues affecting our district, state and country, the release explained.

Current issues of importance that the Legislature will be dealing with include immigration, water, manufacturing and transportation.

“Each year it is an honor to welcome Rep. Greg Stanton, Tempe city and business leaders and the Tempe Chamber to Rio Salado. More importantly, it is an honor and a pleasure to come together and work for greater impact across our communities,” Rio Salado President Kate Smith stated in the release.

Tickets for the event, sponsored by Rio Salado College, Arizona State University, State Farm and SRP, can be purchased at https://bit.ly/3PvXt0e
