Police arrest Tempe high school district employee suspected of security video misuse

A Tempe Union High School District employee was arrested and booked into jail Saturday following an investigation into the inappropriate use and downloading of district security video footage for personal use, police said.

The Tempe Police Department was contacted Friday after a security supervisor discovered the misuse while conducting an audit of the employee’s security-video activity.  Antony Cruz was arrested on Aug. 22, police said.
