Pedal Haus to host its first Rabbit Ride on March 29

Pedal Haus Brewery recently announced its inaugural Rabbit Ride, an annual event set for Saturday, March 29, starting at its Tempe location at 730 S. Mill Ave.

This free, rabbit-themed bike ride invites participants to dress up in their most creative costumes and join in a fun ride through the heart of Tempe, a press release explained. Following the ride, an after party at Pedal Haus awaits with live music, drink specials, costume contests and more.

The Rabbit Ride kicks off at Pedal Haus Tempe, where riders can check in starting at 11:30 a.m. before hitting the sidewalk-friendly bike route.

The ride will take participants through scenic routes connecting The Shop Beer Co. and Hundred-Mile Brewing Co., which will have live music and beer specials. The journey will culminate back at Pedal Haus Tempe for an after-party from 3 to 5 p.m.

The Rabbit Ride will feature exciting cash and gift card prizes for standout participants, including the most creative costume, most creative bike and most creative group costume, according to the release.

Pedal Haus Brewery founder Julian Wright said in the release that they’d been missing the Tour de Fat ride that used to take place in Downtown Tempe, and Pedal Haus hopes to bring some of that fun energy with this smaller ride.

“Working with local partners like The Shop and Hundred-Mile Brewing Company, this event will bring people together for a memorable and lighthearted day of cycling and celebration,” Wright said.
