Mill Avenue businesses banding together to improve low sales

Mill Avenue, one of the most recognizable spots in Tempe, has undergone many changes in the past few years in the form of construction, roadwork and new businesses.

Christian Loria, marketing director for C.A.S.A. Tempe, is one the drivers of a new coalition of businesses. He and Cassidy Lujan, owner of The Plan Mill, are working to ensure that their businesses stay afloat and have a space to create solutions between the city council and local business owners.

Loria said other businesses like Rodeo, Varsity Tavern, Cactus Sports and the Shoe Mill have joined in the effort and will make a team to work with other groups in Tempe.
