Bookstores across the Valley will celebrate the March 26 publication of Emmy award-winning reporter Christina Estes’s debut mystery, “Off the Air.”

“Off the Air" introduces Jolene Garcia, a Phoenix TV reporter investigating the suspicious death of a controversial radio talk show host, a press release explained. When national media descend on Arizona with bigger budgets and better scoops, Jolene finds herself fighting for her job and her life.

Changing Hands Bookstore, 6428 S McClintock Dr., will host a conversation with Whitney Clark, Arizona’s Family anchor and Beyond the Next Chapter host, on March 26 at 7 p.m.

During the book's launch week, Estes will celebrate her Phoenix-based series at events in Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler and Phoenix.
