JLL has announced that local apparel company Branded Bills has expanded its headquarters to Tempe.

Branded Bills will lease a 96,407-square-foot lease for Branded Bills in Tempe for a new headquarters.
Located at 360 S. Smith Road, the lease relocates and triples the size of the Branded Bills headquarters, consolidating the company into a single location able to support its rapid 40% year-over-year growth, a press release stated.
A homegrown Arizona company offering a range of hat and apparel products featuring a trademark, hand-forged leather patch, Branded Bills will have 140 employees across administrative, sales, marketing, production and warehouse functions at the new building.
Founded in 2015 by Dave Dickert, Sam Coil, Josh Tabaj and Tim Welch, Branded Bills has grown from a startup operating out of a local garage into an expansive apparel company with a custom order division, golf-specific wholesale offerings and a thriving online direct-to-consumer enterprise, according to the release.

Dickert said in the release that Branded Bills has moved or expanded seven times since launching in 2015.
“We expected our last expansion, which happened in May of 2023, to last us five years. But our incredible growth changed those plans, compelling a move,” Dickert said.
The new headquarters is a welcome next step that will bring the company together under one roof, he explained. This will improve efficiency, empower new programs and partnerships and fortify the corporate culture.
This year, the company added licensing for Arizona State University, Grand Canyon University and Northern Arizona University. It has also established a partnership with the Phoenix Suns that includes the buildout of a retail store in the Footprint Center arena, the release noted.
Tabaj said Branded Bills set out to “redefine headwear and apparel with unparalleled quality.” In the almost 10 years since launching, the group has developed relationships with businesses and individuals that are engaged in the company’s innovative decoration process
“We are grateful for each of these relationships, which continue to transform how companies approach promotional merchandise,” Tabaj said in the release.
The new Branded Bills headquarters sits on 4.6 acres near McClintock Drive and Rio Salado Parkway, at the confluence of Loop 101 and Loop 202.
JLL Managing Director Keith Lammersen represented Branded Bills in the lease negotiations. Newmark Director Gary Cornish represented the landlord, an undisclosed local investor.
Constructed in 2021, the new Branded Bills headquarters features 30’ clear height, LED overhead lighting, ESFR sprinklers, high-end creative office finishes, four dock doors and five drive-in doors, according to the release.
Branded Bills will relocate from 37,076 square feet at the Broadway 101 Commerce Park in Mesa. It is expected to occupy its new headquarters in early 2025.
