ASU student receives Samuel L. Goodman Scholarship

Posted

Miracle Hall, a local student from Arizona State University’s Tempe campus, has won the Samuel L. Goodman Educational Scholarship.

The Samuel L. Goodman Educational Scholarship exists to honor the legacy of Samuel L. Goodman by supporting African American students with big goals for the future, and it is funded by the Goodman Family whose mission is to help young, determined African American students achieve their educational goals, a press release explained.

One of the winners, Hall, has goals to be happy, financially stable and make an impact in the medical field by becoming a doctor, the release detailed.

She will be there for people of color and treat and listen to them when they come to her. Hall is also currently in the third year of her national guard career.
