OPINION — This is in response to Michael Trotta’s and Lynn Plaxton’s opinions in the 2/4/2026 edition.
Where is the proof that anti-ICE protesters were paid? There were a lot of us who did not vote for this. ICE is not arresting the “worst.” ICE is harassing everyone who shows they do not approve of them being in our cities. And everyone is doing it for freedom, not for money.
Also, I am glad to see our newspapers giving a voice to all by announcing the presence of ICE on our streets as the feds are not here to protect Americans, but to marginalize the hard-working men and women who work the fields so we can have food on our tables, etc.
