Northwest area to gain benefit of Rancho Mercado location

A new cellphone tower on Surprise city-owned land is expected to alleviate some issues residents in the northwest area of Surprise experience.

The Surprise City Council on May 6 unanimously voted to allow a tower at the Rancho Mercado Water Supply Facility at the northeast corner of Happy Valley Road and 144th Drive.
