The Arizona Law Enforcement Canine Association received a $40,000 sponsorship from Valley Toyota Dealers with a check presentation at Toyota of Surprise on March 21.

Valley Toyota Dealers and Toyota of Surprise general manager Larry Tabloff was among those in attendance to give the award to ALECA President Tony Sanborn, of the Scottsdale Police Department, ALECA Director of Operations Andrew Carlsson and ALECA board members and K9 officer handlers.

Those included Phoenix Police’s Ricardo Carlo, Queen Creek Police’s Deanna Kuhn and Scottsdale Police’s Derek Vusovich, with his recently injured-in-action police K9 Rocco.
