The Dysart Unified School District will host a College 101 Night for parents interested in learning about the college acceptance and financial aid process.
The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Valley Vista High School, 15550 N. Parkview Place.
“College 101 Night is a great way for families to learn about and prepare for college,” DUSD Superintendent John Croteau said. “This event is just one of many things we do in Dysart in order to prepare our students for college and career success.”
College 101 Night will begin at 5 p.m. with college booths available to browse.
Informational sessions will be held beginning at 6 p.m. where parents can choose to hear about a variety of topics.
Participating parents will have the opportunity to learn about FAFSA, athletics in college, honors colleges, saving for college, financial planning and more.
More than 20 colleges will be in attendance, along with military representatives to meet with parents and answer questions.
Food trucks will also be on site during the event.
