Surprise seniors could get discount on using city pools

City Council considering new comprehensive fee schedule

Seniors could be getting reduced rates for using the Surprise pools under a new fee schedule the city is considering.

The city on Feb. 4 officially opened a 60-day public notice window for updating its comprehensive citywide fee schedule, which sets rates for various services and permits in the city.

City staff is suggesting 35 new or increase fees, 23 of which come from the Parks and Recreation Department.
