Surprise residents now have another way to learn about civil legal issues, find court information and forms, access legal aid providers by appointment and locate community resources.

The Surprise Resource Center, 12425 W. Bell Road, has been selected through a partnership with Community Legal Services as one of only eight locations in Arizona to host an easy-to-use, self-service legal kiosk.

The kiosk is available to the public during regular hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the third Saturday of the month.

The kiosk project is part of the effort from Community Legal Services to bring access to legal information, resources and services to community members in areas where travel to one of their offices is too burdensome.
