Surprise ice cream lovers can now taste the Rainbow

Original Rainbow Cone opens first Arizona location

The Original Rainbow Cone announced its arrival on the Surprise scene with a big marketing campaign before its March 31 opening at 13510 N. Litchfield Road.

The 100-year-old Chicago ice cream shop marked its first Arizona location with an official ribbon cutting with ownership and city officials.

Rainbow Cone serves up the brand’s signature stacked cone, featuring layers of orange sherbet, pistachio, Palmer House, strawberry, and chocolate — along with a variety of other frozen treats.
