The U.S. Department of Education has announced Shadow Ridge High School among the 2024 National Blue Ribbon School awardees across the country for its high academic achievement and progress in closing the achievement gap.
Named among 356 schools nationwide, Shadow Ridge joins six schools in Arizona, and the only high school in the state, to receive this recognition, according to a news release.
Schools receiving the national Blue Ribbon award designation will be identified by the National Blue Ribbon School flag at an entry or flying overhead to symbolize its exemplary teaching and learning status.
