With the first Surprise Arts Presents season starting this month, the city council will get to hear about what the city’s Arts and Culture Division is up to at a work session.
City staff plans to update the council on how programming went in fiscal year 2026, which included 11 completed public art projects and the launch of the Surprise Arts Presents program at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
“These efforts created enhanced opportunities for community engagement and participation in the arts,” city officials wrote in the agenda item for Tuesday’s work session.
