Surprise charter school students earn big scholarship awards

Class of 2025 students earn $12.4 million in college aid

The Highland Prep class of 2025 has achieved an extraordinary milestone, earning an astonishing $12.4 million in scholarships.

This total breaks the record for the most scholarship money ever awarded to a Highland Prep class, showcasing the class’s exceptional academic talent, hard work and dedication.

“This achievement is a testament to the students’ commitment to excellence and their ability to attract significant investment in their future,” school officials wrote in a news release.

In addition to this impressive accomplishment, 100% of the class of 2025 has been accepted into four-year colleges and universities. The class has received acceptance letters from esteemed universities such as the University of Michigan, University of San Diego, Rochester Institute of Technology, Howard University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Pepperdine University.

These acceptances demonstrate the students’ academic preparation and potential for success in higher education.

“The class of 2025’s achievements are a reflection of the exceptional education and support provided by Highland Prep,” the school wrote. “The school’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, creativity and leadership has empowered students to reach their full potential and secure significant scholarship awards.

Highland Prep is a STEM-focused college-preparatory high school located at 15600 W. Hearn Road.
