Just in time for local businesses to reopen from the COVID-19 virus, Surprise has an improved hotel option this summer.

The Best Western Plus Surprise-Phoenix NW Hotel, 13337 W. Grand Ave., has completed a $2 million renovation for its 86 rooms and 12 suites. The amenities at the hotel include a state-of-the-art fitness center, which is open 24 hours, an outdoor pool and hot tub, and a 326-square-foot meeting space.
