With spring training creeping up soon, fans of the Texas Rangers can still sign up for January’s fantasy camp in Surprise.

The inaugural camp at the Surprise Stadium Complex will let fans live out their dreams of learning from former Rangers legends, including Iván Rodríguez, Fergie Jenkins and Rubén Sierra.

The camp ruins from Jan. 7 through 11. It costs $4,950 for the five days, including daily meals, transportation and hotel as part of the package.

Campers will play on the field, dress in authentic uniforms, receive clubhouse access and get instruction from an assortment of former players. The camp consists of a six-game schedule of seven-inning games — three camper-pitched games and three games facing a pitching machine.

Everybody must be 30 years or older to participate.
