After years of Surprise resident demand, ALDI cut its ribbon on a store in the city for the second time this year on Oct. 2.
Mayor Kevin Sartor helped celebrate the opening at 17038 W. Waddell Road with Surprise General Manager Phillip Mazzei and District Manager Kyle Footitt.
City Councilmember Patrick Duffy, who represents the district that includes Prasada, helped cut the ribbon.

After years of Surprise resident demand, ALDI cut its ribbon on a store in the city for the second time this year on Oct. 2.
Mayor Kevin Sartor helped celebrate the opening at 17038 W. Waddell Road with Surprise General Manager Phillip Mazzei and District Manager Kyle Footitt.
City Councilmember Patrick Duffy, who represents the district that includes Prasada, helped cut the ribbon.
Other city officials in attendance were Director Economic Development Jeanine Jerkovic, Deputy Fire Chief Jesus Rivera, Police Commander Kendall Moreland and the Surprise Fire-Medical Department.
