City, school district agree on deal to revive The Vista

Break out the strobe lights. Professional shows are coming back to Surprise in the spring.

The city of Surprise and the Dysart Unified School District this week each approved a facility use agreement for The Vista Center for the Arts to have the city produce big name shows starting next year.

“I’m so excited that we found a solution, and here we are at the finish line,” said Surprise Councilmember Chris Judd before the city council unanimously approved the agreement on Feb. 18.
