“Getting input from residents helps us understand our strengths and areas for improvement and ensures that we understand the values of our community,” city officials wrote in a news release. “Your feedback also helps to identify priority projects for Surprise and indicates where limited city funding should go in order to provide the services you most desire.”
The Polco/National Research Center of Boulder, Colorado, is conducting the National Community Survey. It is expected to take less than 15 minutes to participate.
Here are some important privacy details regarding the survey:
Polco keeps individual opinions anonymous to the city, while allowing city staff to see broad demographic and geographic breakdowns.
Online participants will be asked to provide an email address and zip code to submit the survey and to ensure one response per person and residency
Online users will also have the option to create a Polco account to participate in future surveys. This is optional and not required in order to participate in the NCS. Those who choose to participate can opt-out at any time.
When the survey closes and Polco compiles all the data, the city will share the responses at surpriseaz.gov/NCS.
