Report details attack on Arizona congressional district candidate

A report conducted by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office into the rape of Democratic Congressional District 8 candidate Bernadette Greene-Placentia provides new details about the incident.

Greene-Placentia was sexually assaulted in August while performing campaign work. The incident happened in the area of 99th Avenue and Bell Road in Sun City.

A MCSO spokesperson said the agency is still conducting an ongoing investigation on the matter and cannot comment on the investigation at this time.
