Margaret “Peggy” Doe

Peggy was born in Missouri and adopted by John and Margaret Kirshman. She graduated from the University of Nebraska; she loved football and sports, a Cornhusker to the end! Music and dance filled her world, and she expertly played the piano, organ and harp. She was a fantastic knitter and if you were lucky, you received a perfect sweater made by her, sometimes knitting while watching a movie. She was a leader in PEO and received her 75 year pin. She was a president and board member SMCF of the Iowa State Carillion. (The Stanton Memorial Carillion Foundation).
Peggy married Pat Doe in 1975. Pat told her, he would learn to play golf if she would crew for him on his boats. They traveled the world together.
Peggy is survived by her husband Pat, her daughters: Kendra and Kristi. Rest in peace my beautiful and wonderful wife. A private service will be at a later date.
