Mystery authors Ann I. Goldfarb and James E. Clapp, writing as J.C. Eaton, will be at Barnes & Noble, 13719 W. Bell Road, Surprise, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 to sign copies of “Molded 4 Murder,” their recent Sophie Kimball Mystery set in Sun City West. “When prominent clay artist, Quentin Dussler, is found dead in his garage clutching a note with Sophie (Phee) Kimball’s mother’s name on it, Phee is compelled to find out who murdered the guy before her mother is next on the list,” the authors state in a news release about the new book. “As usual, she must content with her mother’s looney friends and some new characters from one of the area’s notable residential retirement homes.” In addition to “Molded 4 Murder” all of their books in the series will be available as well as their Wine Trail Mysteries set in upstate New York, and the Marcie Rayner detective series, set in Minnesota. Meet the authors to learn more about this comical whodunit and what’s in store as their series continues. The event is free and open to the public.
