Investing in our children, our schools and our community is crucial to making Surprise the community of choice.

Dysart Unified School District demonstrates its commitment to quality education, proven by their A-rated district designation, with 22,000-plus students enrolled in the 18 A-rated and six B-rated schools, including Arizona’s only National Blue Ribbon-rated high school.

My family has been a part of the DUSD community for over 14 years, with my wife serving as an educator and my children enrolled within DUSD since kindergarten.

The override proposal allows DUSD to retain great teachers, maintain manageable and successful class sizes and support vital programs like art, music athletics and full-day kindergarten. This ballot measure is estimated to cost property owners $24.86 a month, and I strongly believe spending $25 a month on our youth to maintain a secure, high-quality learning environment is well worth the investment, especially with DUSD having a proven return-on-investment.

Supporting DUSD is vital to the success of Surprise, and I urge you to join me in voting yes for the future of our community.
