Letters: DUSD vote is commitment to Surprise students, community
As governing board president, I’m proud of the incredible progress Dysart has made — and I’m asking for your support to keep that momentum going by voting yes on both the bond and the override.
These measures are fiscally responsible. They do not raise the tax rate, yet they provide critical support for our students, staff and schools. The bond will allow us to build a much-needed new elementary school and secure land for a future high school-ensuring we keep up with growth in our community. It also supports safety, transportation and maintenance needs across the district.
The override protects vital academic programs, arts, athletics and after-school opportunities that help students thrive-all while keeping class sizes manageable.

As a parent, a board member and a longtime community member, I know how much our schools impact the success of our city. These are investments in the future of Surprise — and in every child who walks through our doors.
Please join me in voting yes on the override. Our students are worth it.
