KIDZ Jamboree coming to Surprise Resource Center

The city of Surprise invited the community to a KIDZ Jamboree and a celebration of the Week of the Young Child.

The family event focuses on kids up to age 5 and showcases the early childhood programs and services available in the community including resources, childcare/preschools and libraries.

KIDZ Jamboree is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at the Surprise Resource Center, 12425 W. Bell Road.

The Human Service and Community Vitality Department is hosting the event with support from First Things First Family Resource Network and Child and Family Resources.

This event features:

  • Games, crafts, and music
  • Storytime
  • Fun with the Arizona Science Center
  • Early childhood programming & resources
  • Information on childcare/preschools
  • Special needs resources
  • Car seat safety information
