The team is still looking for vendors for the market. Vendor spots cost $40 dollars and must be signed up by Thursday Dec. 12.
To become a vendor you can sign up under the athletics section at surpriseprep.org.
Cheer Athletic Director Jazmine Walker shared that this is an annual event that has been taking place for many years.
“It allows our cheer team to open the doors of our school to the community for a bright and magical day,” Walker said.
“People come to shop and support small/local businesses while getting to eat pancakes, snap photos with Santa, (write) letters to Santa, and arts and crafts for the kiddos to enjoy.”
Hosting this event will help the IPS cheer and dance athletes attend Nationals in Anaheim, California in February to compete.
It will help raise funds to help the student athletes pay the fees necessary to attend and compete.
