Horne spotlights Surprise school district for arts success

DUSD finishes year with most Seal of Arts earners

Arizona’s top education official recently gave a shoutout to the Dysart Unified School District for a big statewide honor.

State schools superintendent Tom Horne recognized the district for having the most students who received the Seal of Arts Proficiency for the second straight year in 2024-25.

In a statement Horne’s office released, he offered his “congratulations to the Dysart district and its leadership for having the most students receiving this recognition.”
