Surprise police officer Edwin Herrera was named the top Surprise Police Department officers of the last year, according to department awards it recently handed out.
In addition to Herrera’s big award, officer Morgan Williams was named Field Training Officer of the Year and officer Luke Richards was picked as Rookie of the Year.
Jolene Arndt was selected as the departmen’s Detective of the Year, while Sgt. Will Bisson took home Supervisor of the Year honors.
CP of the Year went to Michael McGinnis, while Jesse Tuggle was named Volunteer of the Year.
