Seven auto dealers and retail uses are planned at the Gateway Auto Mall on 62 acres at the northeast and northwest corners of East Pecos Road and South Signal Butte Road in Mesa.
The Mesa Design Review Board voted 4-0 March 11 to recommend the planning director approve the Gateway Auto Mall design guidelines for the development south of State Route 24. Chair Dane Astle, Vice Chair Justin Trexler and board member Paul Johnson were absent.
A drainage channel with culverts is planned at the site, Staff Planner Joshua Grandlienard said.
