A new community gathering place about 15 minutes from Corte Bella is welcoming its neighbors from beyond Surprise.
The Surprise Community & Resource Center, which opened in September at 12641 W. Santa Fe Drive, brings senior activities, a fitness center, veterans assistance, employment services and other resources together under one roof. And Corte Bella residents are welcome to take part.
Seth Dyson, Surprise’s human service and community vitality director, said Corte Bella falls within the service area for programs at the center. Residents are also welcome to stop by and tour the new facility.
