Future Surprise police substation needs artists for public display

The city of Surprise needs artists to help design permanent public art at the new police substation, which is opening opening at the end of 2027.

The city invited professional artists and artist teams to apply for a permanent public art opportunity at the new substation near 163rd Avenue and San Ysidro Road.

The selected artist will receive a contract of approximately $165,000 to design, fabricate and install the artwork.
