Ground Floor Artists is preparing for its monthly Friday Night Art Madness event, at its 13343 W Foxfire Drive, Suite 3 location.

Every third Friday of the month the group will make a project. The next session is from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 21.

During the August event, participants will learn the basics of painting stylized flowers with acrylic paints with Kelley Smith. Choose an 8.5” Terracotta flower pot or a 10-by-10 canvas.

This can be a girls’ night out, a date night or a family fun night.

The cost is a $20 donation, and all proceeds will benefit Ground Floor’s art program.

Classes are small so participants receive maximum attention from the instructor.

Those interested can register at the classes page. Email inspiringya@gmail.com for questions.
