Ex-NFL player adds to ‘Rosy’ outlook for Surprise team

OUAZ hires former college star, Cardinals QB Rosenbach

OUAZ football coach Reilly Murphy was 1 years old when Timm Rosenbach first became an All-American quarterback at Washington State in the 1980s.

But when the two first crossed paths as coaches of NCAA Division II football coaches 30 years later, Murphy knew about Rosenbach’s exploits as a college All-American and starting quarterback for the then-Phoenix Cardinals.

“He’s somebody I really admired and looked up to,” Murphy recalled about his time coaching camps with “Coach Rosy.”
