Craft fair returns to Village Park of Surprise

Holiday shopping available Dec. 7

Posted

Surprise holiday shoppers are getting a little extra bonus at Vineyard Park of Surprise with its next craft event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.

The event offers residents a nice change of pace, a chance to shop and builds a stronger partnership with the community and small business.

Vineyard Park of Surprise,  16650 N. Stadium Way, is a professionally managed community specializing in highly functional, assisted living and memory care for seniors.

To complement their numerous amenities, holding a craft fair with local artisans brings it to another level.

Every quarter Activities Director Kelly de la Cruz brings in a group of local crafters and offers residents a chance to shop, visit and talk “shop” with the artisans.

The craft fair is open to the publi, which gives the community a chance to come in and see what Vineyard Park of Surprise is all about.

“Vineyard Park of Surprise supports small businesses because we know that it helps others” de la Cruz said. “It gives that small business the opportunity to pay for dance class for their daughter, soccer for their son, or something simple like a date night with their husband.  Having the amazing small businesses come into our community greatly benefits our community.  Many of the residents are not able to go shopping on a regular basis and this allows them to purchase birthday, Christmas gift or just something special for themselves.”

Shoppers are encouraged to attend, browse all the one-of-a-kind and made-by-hand creations, and get some Christmas shopping done, too.

For more information, feel free to contact Kelly DeLaCruz at 623-561-7728
