Charity haircuts coming to Surprise business

'Ohana Salon in Surprise is hosting a cut-a-thon Sunday, April 30 with all proceeds being donated to charity.

The  'Ohana Cuts for Clean Water is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 13980 W. Bell Road, Unit 5.

The event offers haircuts for $30 and blowouts for $20.

Come in and get a haircut and support a great cause.

Hair stylists will be donating their time for the event, which also takes place at 'Ohana's Scottsdale location at 6870 E. 5th Ave.

Chandra and Chad Chriswisser founded ‘Ohana Salon  in Scottsdale, in 2008. Since then they have expanded to Surprise in 2021. 

Chandra is a master stylist, makeup artist, educator and industry innovator.

She started her career in 1998 and rapidly joined the ranks of top hair stylists.

She said she has a true passion for creating beauty. She has a reputation in the industry for her high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Chandra has an extensive amount of experience ranging from natural looks to  avant-garde and special effects looks.

Although Chandra has moved from behind the chair, she continues to help the next generation of stylists. Chandra has developed an education program exclusive to ‘Ohana Salon.

Chandra and her team of experts have a hands-on approach that leverages the latest technologies to help take stylists to the next level.

Apprentices are given the ability to earn their cosmetology license, while working on the salon floor.
