Bash is a smash among Surprise community

Local woman helps link those needing hospice care

Surprise resident Anne Bash was once a cheerleader for Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

“I feel like a cheerleader for families now,” Bash said.

Bash is one of as many as 30 community liaisons for Hospice of the Valley, which connects people with hospice services that go beyond just taking care of a loved ones final days.
