6 traffic signals to go live in Surprise

Heavy traffic in areas are expediting full functions over next three weeks

As Surprise pushes out west and north, more intersections are in line for traffic signals going live over the next three weeks.

Six intersections total will soon have the signals to help monitor the flow of traffic as development continues across the city.

And because traffic is high in the areas getting the new signals, the city plans to bypass the flashing red phase that normally happens in the first 48 hours of activation. Instead, the signals will be fully activated right away.
