Surprise residents are encouraged to take advantage of three free paper shredding events that will help them conveniently and safely dispose of documents.
Residents can bring up to three banker boxes of paper — no larger than 15x12x10 inches — to be shredded from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on June 24, 25 and 27 at the Public Works North Yard, 17274 N. Litchfield Road.
City staff will oversee lockable bins for residents to place their paper into, and then the city’s vendor will take the bins to be shredded offsite.
