The campus of Del E. Webb, 14502 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West will serve as a point of distribution for the COVID-19 vaccine for health care workers only.
Included in Phase 1A of the vaccine are healthcare workers, emergency medical services workers and long-term care facility staff and residents will be included. Vaccinations were scheduled to begin Dec. 21 at the Sun City West location.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Zane Hagen said during the Dec. 16 PORA Roads, Traffic and Safety Committee meeting, anyone who has not been registered for the distribution will be turned around.
