Sun City West independent author Rita Hanner-Ward, who writes under the name “Kiva Walfe,” debuted her novel “Red Flash,” set in the world of organized crime and the international gem trade, with cinematic pacing, emotional depth and vivid landscapes.
“I’m deeply grateful for the confidence this reflects — both in the story and in the partnership behind it,” said Hanner-Ward. “It’s meaningful to see an indie book receive this kind of support.”
Hanner-Ward spends her time writing, volunteering for hospice, clay hand-building and spending time with her devoted companion, Zorro.
