The Community Fund of Sun City West helps residents with finances

Sun City West residents in financial need, have an organization to reach out to in the community for help.
Some Sun City West residents are experiencing unexpected financial need. The Community Fund of Sun City West provides a confidential financial safety net for these residents.
Call 623-546-1122 and a trained volunteer will return the call. Sun City West Community Fund officials can help by providing assistance in paying for food, prescriptions, utilities, and other bills.
In 2023 more than $286,000 was distributed to qualifying residents.
The Community Fund of Sun City West is not affiliated with the Sun City West Foundation, the Recreation Centers of Sun City West or the Property Owners and Residents Association.
The organization relies on local donations and is run by volunteers.
The Community Fund of Sun City West is an “Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization,” code 20177, and donations can be applied toward an Arizona State income tax payment, dollar for dollar. Those living in other states can receive a tax deduction.
For a single person, the tax credit is $421 and for a couple $841.
