An evaluation of the Sun City West Posse Headquarters completed several months ago suggested safety improvements on the building.

Posse Cmdr. Carolyn Patterson said officials from Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the Arizona Fire & Medical Authority provided insight to Patterson.

“We started working on those and we have been talking about putting in an automated door to help some of our residents who need the extra help and can push a button to open the doors,” she said.
