Sun City West Pickleball Club welcomes new members

Welcoming and mentoring new members to the Sun City West Pickleball Club is important for membership committee chairwomen Chip Brown. Brown joined the club in May 2024 and has a multi-pronged action plan for ensuring new members integrate into the club. Brown calls each new member and offers to meet them at the courts. He watches them play and recommends an appropriate level group. This fall there are three beginners round robin groups, with group leaders. Those groups meet on different days and times. Brown also advises new members who are experienced players. Laura and John Segala are working with Brown who asked for additional mentors to volunteer at the monthly meetings.
